Lisa Hiatt and Saylor
Happy Saylor is now a titled lady: With her handler, Lisa Hiatt, she recently earned her Canine Good Citizen certification, and the next day, passed her test to become a mission-ready Human Remains Detection K9! Congratulations to Lisa and Saylor! (Updated photo coming soon!)

SAR K9 Demo and Zoom Style
In another first, MSSARDA presented a SAR K9 demonstration for the Collierville Library in virtual Zoom style, thanks to the support of amazing library video experts who visited a team field training and captured footage of beginner dogs in training and mission-ready certified dogs at work, as well. Kudos to them for their skill and patience in introducing us to this new educational medium without too many stumbles on our part! 🙂

Ginny Hull Bell with K9 Storm and K9 Pacer
Essential cornerstone team member Ginny Hull Bell passed stringent FEMA testing to certify K9 Storm as a Type 1 FEMA USAR Disaster Dog, and to recertify with K9 Pace at a newly-established higher Type 1 FEMA level in USAR Human Remains Detection. A tremendous level of training and commitment was required, and we’re all proud of Ginny and her three mission-ready FEMA dogs! (Yes, K9 Mojo, her seasoned pro partner, continues in active service, too!) See newspaper article from Pigeon News Roost
